how the fuck do I gif

I have like 32 layers in Photoshop Elements 7, ready to turn into an animated gif. except when I try to save it as an animation, it tells me the file's too fucking big. reducing the resolution to 10x10 doesn't work. reducing the colors to fucking 2 colors doesn't work.

what the fuck is going on.

how can people make such awesome gifs when my program doesn't even want to fucking work.

I have spent 3 hours trying to save one damn file. and failing.

help?
