Today I played a character named Ethan.
I started the session off poorly. I couldn’t emote properly. My articulation was awful. In a fit of desperation, I yelled “THIS’S ETHAN”. It wasn’t Ethan.
I stepped out of the booth. Did some tongue twisters. Shook my body out. I cried out, reaching for the character. Was this really Ethan?
I stepped back into the booth. I was ready. I read the first few lines. They flowed out like molasses on a hot day. I let out one final “THIS’S ETHAN”.
It was Ethan. My job was complete.
