For tropes: Enemies to lovers? (I have my suspicions, but I still love reading your insights on these.) Or time travel and/or multiverse travel if you prefer.

oh NO I wrote the whole damn thing (a LONG THING), and then microsoft edge (which I have been using FOR TUMBLR because tumblr was fucking up on firefox) ate the whole damn thing.

oh no. So this is not going to be as good as the original post, but here goes.

Basically, my question is: Why were they enemies to start with?

Because in this political climate, I have become suspect as hell about the notion of benign enmities. Politics is not a horse race, it’s not a sportsball game, where winners and losers shake hands and then go out for drinks together afterwards -- it’s people who are bending their every political advantage to strip rights from queer/poor/non-white/child-bearing Americans, and let me tell you, idgaf how hot those people are! if that’s the kind of person they are, then gremble’s anaconda GENUINELY WANTS NONE. Moreoever, I loathe the implication that these utterly repugnant moral views are some ~harmless quirk~ to be brushed aside because ~opposites attract~ doncha know. 

So what does enemies-to-lovers mean? Which of the blorbos is changing/compromising their principles for this, and should they be?

And I say this as someone who has written enemies-to-lovers fic before (hail, Enemy Mine!) -- but unless you’re doing a whole-ass, Avatar-style redemption arc, in which someone comes to understand that their entire worldview is toxic and flawed, then I think the key point is that the blorbos have to both want the same thing, it’s just that they’re willing to go to very different lengths for it. 

(You’re writing to your congressperson, I’m taking a passenger jet plane hostage -- we are not the same, except that we’re both in it for mutant rights.)

So yeah.

I’m not categorically opposed to it, but it’s a trope that comes in for heightened scrutiny from me, because depending on how it’s executed, it can have some Unfortunate Implications that put my hackles up.

Sunday night thoughts

It's really sad when people I love and care for (aka everyone) separate and distance themselves from the love of Christ which they once so strongly clung to; it's also really sad and upsetting when followers of Christ don't love others and remain dwelling in the habits of hatred and self-righteousness which can so easily turn people away from God's love and the truth. We need to strive to always live our lives in a way which won't contradict our beliefs and who Jesus is. We need to love and love and love and just keep on loving!

Sorry ah pero..

May feels talaga ako sa ibang blogger dito. Yung tipong "Huhu mag de-deactivate nako guys blablabla" edi eto naman yung mga taong "Wag na ganito-ganyan" "hala wag ka umalis blablabla" tas mag rereplya siy ng  "I'll see guys pero ganito ganyan kasi blablabla" hanggang sa 3 years na lumipas at marami pang taon tas di parin siya nag de-deactivate tas yung parin drama nya araw-araw. Ano ba naman yan. Kung aalis ka edi umalis ka kung babalik ka edi bumalik wag ka nalang mag expect na may babalikan ka pa. Opss lumilihis na hahaha thorry. Pero yun lang talaga sorry na.
