I hc that before becoming a toppat, Randy was a really gloomy and tired person. He used to work as a nurse in some small infirmary and was resigned to living an unhappy unfulfilling life. That is until, he was found by Dusty who managed to convince him to join them (after he patched up a bunch of toppats who were heavily injured).

Dusty later encouraged him to be more open about himself and so Randy bloomed to be the loud and zestful party guy everyone knows him to be. He was basically Dusty and Cloudface's personal nurse until both of their deaths. When Cloudface was on his deathbed he pointed to Randy when asked who was going to be the next leader.

What great character development! I'm sure that this won't have the unintentional consequence of him becoming a whole lot more selfish and irresponsible in the future!!!
