Jan threw up her hands, after putting down the tablet. “I don’t know! I didn’t shun anything, especially when it isn’t true.”
Thor put a hand on Jan’s shoulder. “You and I know the truth; what does it matter what the media believes?”
Jan reached up, patting Thor’s hand. “You’re so sweet. I bet you’d never get accused of being something you’re not.”
“Do you really wish to take that bet?” Thor asked, raising an eyebrow.
Jan considered this, before nodding. “Yes. I bet that the media would not accuse you of being anything but the best boyfriend ever.”
Thor laughed, taking Jan’s hand and bringing it to his lips. “We shall see. The stakes?”
“I win, you take me to dinner. You win, I take you to dinner.”
Thor nodded. “Win win either way. I accept.”
