DISCLAIMER i have literally never participated in discourse before. i only represent my own opinion, not that of the whole system (though im assuming they agree. likely with better nuance).
i genuinely despise some of the discourse going around right now. it's all infighting, everyone trying to prove they are the most oppressed group and tearing each other down for it. people are making false binaries to show the oppression they're facing, and that isn't helping anyone. every real-life conversation i have with queer people comes to the conclusion that misogyny is bad and trans women need to be supported better by the queer community, but not at the cost of anyone else. more must be done for trans women.
people keep making up terms for oppression, falsely equating oppression to identity. transmisogyny exists. transandrophobia exists. it isnt called transmisandry because misandry isn't the systematic issue at play here.
im so tired of this, id try to explain my opinion more but i am just not here for discourse. transfemmes, transmascs, anyone with opinions on this, please tell me about it. i cant be right every time, and i do want to be educated, its just that im unfortunately biased, as all people are by their life experiences. i see so much hatred for trans men who try to talk about their issues and so much hatred for trans women who try to talk about their issues, its getting nowhere, and im tired. wishing you all well in the trans community, stand up for your trans siblings, dont let this tear us apart.
