Even though it might make Cam and Adam uncomfortable, these girls’ personal loyalties to their deceased boyfriends should never be more important or more valid than their personal autonomy. This also applies to Liberty’s more controversial decisions like kissing Toby and Damian while constantly having JT thrown back in her face. Even though he had a whole ass girlfriend at the time of his death. I liked how we got to see all of these women grieve and eventually move on.

going on my first rewatch of s1-9 and every second of it im convinced that liberty and toby were intended to be endgame and the only reason the writers didnt make it explicit is because everyone hated it when they kissed the day after jt was fucking murdered

Degrassi Rewatch: The Bitterest Pill

I just rewatched "The Bitterest Pill" from season 6 this episode makes me hate Mia Jones so much x__x I never liked her after that either. This episode breaks my heart with Liberty and Toby. When Liberty finally cried during the memorial it broke my heart. And I liked how Toby was trying to be positive even though it was clear he was struggling and heartbroken over his best friend's death. Ugh it's just not fair JT Is so amazing 😭😭And I know this sounds wrong but in this episode I started shipping Toby&Liberty. It's just they get each other and I dunno they just have something special. I've noticed it in episodes before and after this one too they just seem right for each other. But I'd never ship it if JT were still alive. I love JT so much and I wish he never died 😭😭💔 he was the sweetest funniest cutest guy ever. This episode and Rock This Town make me cry every time. But I still love these episodes anyway because well I love all of Degrassi and I like how they make me feel something.
