Whether it's called TOWER OF EVIL or HORROR ON SNAPE ISLAND, this 1972 British slasher is an unsettling slice of horror cinema. It's also what Father Gore would categorise in the sub-genre of Freudian horror. When a bunch of people go to an old lighthouse on a foggy island, they're attacked & murdered, except for one remaining woman who mentally regresses, unable to remember what occurred. Another group goes looking for answers, as well as the rumoured Phoenician treasure buried somewhere on the island, only to run across the same killer. But who could it be?
