oh gosh, recently? i haven’t done a ton of reading lately, just with being swamped with work and having a friggin’ sieve brain BUUUUT here are some of my favourites (new and old):
falling skies by @fortunexkookie. this is my favourite fic i’ve ever read. ever. i regularly reread it and can only one day hope to write something that will touch my readers in the way ryn’s story did me
burning bright by @snackhobi. it’s not necessarily angst, but it has heavier themes (being a pac rim au) but it comes together so wonderfully at the end. arguably the most meaningful story to me, and not just because joy wrote it for me
ego killer by @zibermuda. it’s such an insanely hot story, first of all, but jk is also so... well-rounded? there’s so much more to what you see on the surface, which i absolutely love. pain and hurt and intrapersonal problems being navigated in such an enticing way idk. i also love zee so???
the entirety of @coepiteamare‘s masterlist because so much of what vi writes is painful but then somehow... cathartic at the same time? i dunno how to explain it
