ANGELS. Good (except when they’re not), honest (though sometimes they lie), light (on the surface, at least), gentle (and harsh and hard and-), pure (is what they say), kindness (is more of a suggestion), love (occasionally worth it), order (is what they bring, their purpose).
DEMONS. Evil (every now and then), lying (to survive), wrathful (sometimes - life is not easy down below), darkness (where they’ve made their home), corrupt (about as much as angels are), cruelty (frowned upon by many), hatred (of those up above), chaos (is life).
SORROW FAIR is unfortunate proof that angels are not as perfect as those who worship them tend to believe. Bitter, sardonic and selfish, she doesn’t really care for the higher purpose, to be honest. The world is screwed up, and she’s just along for the ride. DAMIEN DREAR, on the other hand, is an embarrassing excuse for a demon. He’s weak, nervous and prone to disaster and his whole family absolutely hates him for it. And now a chance encounter between the worst ever angel (Sorrow) and the biggest failure of a demon (Damien) is about to chnage the holy/hellish dichotomy forever.
