Ok so I randomly thought of this but I noticed that the “peace treaty” was signed by toji and gojou so does that mean gojou committed a macbeth on his parents? Was it after y/n died?
you noticed !! well yea let’s just say that y/n’s death made satoru feral and blamed his parents over his grief, basically k*lled them and played it off as an “untimely death” resulting from the war/insurrection.
so by the time they signed the treaty, he is now the king :D

as morbid as this may sound i’m actually very happy with the fact that mc and rin had all of their feelings sorted out and are together before sophia turned. with the way i perceive mc, if it happened after the fact, i’m sure there would still be the gut feeling of “rin only settled for me because sophia isn’t here” — also with sophia, i’m sure you probably have a lot of asks that are happy she is gone lol, but i feel like it’s bittersweet? like yes mc and rin are together and mean sophia is gone but she was someone important to the group. living in a world infested with zombies, i think anyone would be sad if another human being they once knew was now dead, when they were literally just fine and alive the day before. especially with the groups history with her. i don’t know where i’m going with this lol, but i really enjoyed reading the new part so thank you ai ♡
it’s definitely bittersweet :) y/n is not heartless and doesn’t hold a grudge on someone even if she wasn’t in good terms with sophia, her reaction — tearing up after seeing sophia dead — totally crushed her heart. and it was crushing all the more for rin, because she knows how broken he must have been to k*ll her.
I'm getting in my own head again here we goooo. I'm gonna scream if y/n secretly got bit this chapter and she turns/dies, all because Suna hesitated for just a single moment because it was Sophia 😩
