Blood origin is being told to jaskier, it isn't about him but also it is important to his character development. Because Jaskier is hearing all of it and is internalising the lessons from it.

It actually bothers me so much that the entire point of Jaskier hearing the story of the seven is to share it, to bring that story alive once again through song, and then the song in question says absolutely nothing about the actual events.

The actual song has no substance. There is no story. It's just written to be a catchy hit for the viewers, it doent even fulfill its sole in universe purpose.
