“Nuptials”
Someone on dA suggested a picture of Twilight and Thunderlane's wedding. I debated whether to have Celestia or Cadence be the officiant, but Celestia being such a mentor to Twilight made her fit that role better. Plus, Cadence needed to make sure the bachelorette party didn't turn into an all-night O&O session. This being the wedding of a ruler of Equestria and one of the Wondertbolts, all of Canterlot was abuzz with excitement. The ceremony was followed by a procession through the streets of the city. The newlyweds then boarded a dirigible to take them to a small reception at Ponyville Castle. The flowergirl and ring bearer were the Princess' young wards, Lady Sky Wishes and Sir Spike the Brave. The best man was the groom's brother Rumble and the Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor shared the role of the matron of honor.

"Hff... hff... okay. Made it."
"... Twilight? What's up?"
"Hey Rainbow. You wouldn't believe the day I've had."
"Nah, I stopped thinking anything that happened to you was weird a long time ago. I pretty much just go with it now."
"... Right. Well, I needed to get away from the library for... well, reasons. So I was walking down the street and suddenly Cheerilee comes up to me and starts acting real friendly."
"Yeah? Lots of ponies like you."
"I'm starting to get that impression."
"What?"
"... Anyway. She starts calling me pretty and talking about how striking my wings are."
"Heh. Nice."
"And I got flustered and excused myself and literally not one minute later Thunderlane's walking up batting his eyelashes at me."
"Yeah, I know what you mean. It's pretty rough being so hot. I get that all the time."
"Thanks, I... wait. Did you just call me hot?"
"Well... you see the thing about that is..."
