The university’s response to this strike has crushed my entire cohort’s dreams of academia. How can we continue in a field that so easily throws away our efforts to save face?
Oh, we’re “part-time workers” and “trainees”? Tell me why we bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants yeah year, then? Why are we publishing and refereeing papers if we’re ~just trainees~~
