In the age of bitmoji and ai generated images, Grace insists on doing his own drawings of himself for his slide shows if he has to present one. The drawings are awful, but the children eat it up after so much ai slop and bitmoji slop. Eventually, some students make their own (better) drawings for him to use for his slides. He uses them as they accumulate throughout the year and then the next year he switches back to his own awful drawings. He likes to reward creativity.

I don’t know how big of a thing this is, or maybe I’m just in an echo chamber. I see a lot of “Robby as the captain of a ship!!” I raise you this.

Robby who is terribly seasick. Robby who gets easily motion sick. Robby who can only handle fishing for a couple hours before he forces Jack to let him back onto land for a while so he can gather himself. (Jack endlessly teases him about this but he doesn’t want Robby throwing up on his baby so he indulges. Said baby is barely legal and by no means should be able to float)

Dennis, who has never been on a boat, gets warned by Robby (who has taken medication in advance to keep up his front). Dennis refuses since “clearly Robby is fine, so I’ll be fine too.” Dennis who has no issues at all and loves every minute of it. Dennis who now wants to be on a boat all the time and would be a sailor if he wasn’t a doctor.

I don’t know where I’m going with this but it compels me.

Since my “Rocky Watches Breaking Bad through YouTube Shorts” joke + Trans Grace exploded (thank you for that by the way), I bestow upon ye more stupid Project Hail Mary Headcanons:

Rocky fucking LOVES Mythbusters along with a myriad of other science shows and classical music playlists (He loves telling Grace what the notes sound like to him, which is similar to a baby Eridian learning to talk, so a lot of babbling interspersed with simple words). Grace brings up that he showed his class an episode for a certain concept, and Rocky insists they watch it because well, what else are they doing on the way to Erid? (Before Grace is coughing dying from malnutrition, but isn’t feeling great and is staying in bed to conserve energy).

Rocky keeps trying to convince Grace to grow his facial hair like Jamie and Grace keeps trying to explain why that is a terrible idea.
