Ah yes, the true Utah summer experience.
Construction. Lots and lots of construction.
Also burning your hands on your steering wheel and seat belt buckle. Ouch.

Confirmed winner of the contest on Facebook to find the best redesign for Utah.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: It's a really nice flag but the "Utah 1847" seems really out of place like some sort of serial number or "this way up" marker. I'm personally not a fan of words on flags anyway but it would surely be better placed more centrally?
A redesign for Utah.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: The 14 stars are taken from the flag of deseret, the 15th star is made as a beehive to represent Utah's honey industry. The circle of stars is represent the Salt Lake. The blue represents the Mormons. The yellow background was chosen to differentiate from other state flags which most of them have blue backgrounds. The aspect ratio is 8: 5 which is the aspect ratio of the current flag. I'm not sure if there has been other flags like this before; but this is just something I came up with.
It came to me in a nightmare
