"Pretty Woman. It was playing on what you lot call Valentine's so I gave it a try. Not a bad little story. Can't help but feel some problems would have been better solved with a touch of subtle violence."

4. Currently Watching:

"I'm not currently watching anything. Oh, is this when you people start watching a full series? Someone recommend something to me. If I can hog the TV long enough while Thor's out and Kjaera's at school, I may find the time."

5. Sweet, Savory, or Spicy:

"Generally, sweet. Unless it's bacon."

6. Relationship Status:

"Unattached."

7. Current Obsession:

"That would be telling. I am however enjoying playing how many different people I can impersonate for my security consulting work."

"Best breakfast bars in California."

When Scott walked in, it was to amazed laughter, his friends circled around Loki who knelt on the floor among a scattering of cards and runes.

"Ayy Scotty!" Luis cried before waving excitedly at the god. "Loki, Loki do him! Do Scotty! Come on!"

Whether Scott wanted to be involved or not, Loki grinned and used his magic to shuffle the cards. "Very well, I will read for the situation between myself and Scott."

One by one he laid out the cards and spoke, generating a hush from his onlookers.

"This refers to our circumstances, namely about work. It suggests we are having some difficulty getting our new ideas off the ground and we are both needing to learn new skills and techniques. These things may take time.

"For our obstacles, an intelligent young person could make our lives difficult. That could, of course be me. It warns of gossips and poor intentions." Loki snorted. "I shall have to mind myself then. We should also check any contracts and legal documents we have extra carefully.

"Our past influences: this card refers to how different our lives were, how what we had before has changed and we have moved on to something new. I’ve literally settled on another planet. Scott has been to another realm.

"The future. There’s going to be a stalemate of sorts between us. We may want something to change that inevitably doesn’t. There may be some sort of apology over a disagreement but it doesn’t waver much more from that. Perhaps we’ll have to agree to disagree over some of our habits.

"The course of action doesn't really advise on anything so much as hint at something that will happen. Our finances are going to improve or we’re going to win something. That certainly bodes well for X-Con.

"For our surrounding people and circumstances, it says we will have to work hard and will likely have fights on our hands, which is only to be expected in our line of work.

"The outcome claims that we are going to settle into a routine but one we’re comfortable with. We will have success with trade."

Loki conjured a rune from his pocket, a random cast.

"Ah, the Dagaz rune. It bids us take these opportunities as a gift and not to squander them. We should use our time in a worthwhile manner; take worthy causes. Amusingly it's also associated with hope." He smirked at Scott. "Perhaps we might have more success if we occasionally utilise a certain wasp?"

I recommend Hulu’s The Great, for you Loki. It focuses on Catherine the Great’s rise to power in Russia, and the complicated and routinely funny and frustrating relationship with her husband. It has sex and drama and comedy, and is something I think you’d enjoy.

"Is that the channel that doesn't broadcast outside of America? Unless Mr Lang can put me up somewhere I suggest you pirate it for me."

Loki, you might want to try San Diego for breakfast bars! It’s coastal with great views and the best Mexican food that side of the border; a plate of good huevos rancheros is a divine experience.

"They sound spicy."

A pause.

"Not that I'm afraid, I'm simply not a fan of setting my tongue on fire."

"Of course not. What do I have to be insecure about? I can hardly be an insecure prospective security consultant, now can I? Terrible for business."

As you might expect, he's quite possibly one of the most insecure people in the Marvel universe. That said, it's not the most difficult of things to change that. When he's willing to cooperate and the story doesn't demand him cause havoc.
