Love by Vanilla Unity
Far from the emo music scene in distance, Vanilla Unity (or 바닐라 유니티) did a solid record for a debut album. Sounding just like american emo/pop punk bands with power chords and subtle screamed vocals, with Love they might not be one of the most remarkable bands ever, but definetively worth giving it a try if you're exploring the music around the world.
The album spawned a lot of popular songs, some for music videos and even one featured in a korean television drama, but 'Crave' has some awesome guitar riffs that made me choose as the highlighted song of the album.
3 out of 5 stars.
Hi! Do you have any recommendations for songs like Broken Valentine's Aluminium? (especially with that b e a u t i f u l guitar solo) Thanks!
Isn’t that a GORGEOUS guitar solo? I will never get over it~
Some songs I’d recommend that I think have a similar feel are
Vanilla Unity (바닐라 유니티) - Into Your Shadow (당신의 그늘 속에)Flower (플라워) - Broken YesterdayBlue Near Mother (블루 니어 마더) - ChangeToxic (톡식) - Satellite (인공위성)Mate (메이트) - YeahMoonwhales - Violet TearsLee Sun Jung Band (이선정 밴드) - Ordinary DayYUB Project (엽 프로젝트) - Looking Back (돌아보면)
There are so many more I would recommend but these are the first that come to mind :D Hope you enjoy them!

Artist: Vanilla Unity (바닐라 유니티) Song: Understand Album: 1집 LoV.e
Not gonna lie, this song makes Vanilla Unity sound like a Kpop rock band (CN Blue, LED Apple-ish) especially with the rap part that isn't common for this band. This is definitely one of Vanilla Unity's lighter listens, likely to appeal to more people (because some of their songs are REALLY pure rock).
Artist: Vanilla Unity (바닐라 유니티) Song: Hero Album: 1집 LoV.e
Vanilla Unity is quite the unique rock band. Most of their songs have these sections of screamo in the background that's not excessive but it's there. If you're not originally into that stuff or you like the milder styles, I'd definitely recommend giving Vanilla Unity a try. Their lyrics are phenomenal when you really understand them which makes the songs more likable even if you're not too fond of the genre.
