is team vroc based on a theme and characters ?

Team VROC doesn't have a theme: collectively speaking. Each character has their own inspiration (except Vin and Reti. All I know is that I got inspiration for Vin's appearance from a manga, and Reti is a revamp-ish of another rwby oc I don't use as much. But if I can incorporate the original oc's allusion to Reti, it would be based from a Bakeneko.)
Meanwhile, Chris Jean draws some allusions to the Filipino goddess of Wind and Rain: Anitun Tabu, and Kestrel draws allusions to Robin Hood.
I have a reason why it's a bit scattered-like, though. All of the ocs on vroclavender, save for Reti, are somewhat old ocs: with Chris being my very first rwby oc. She used to be in a collab team, but I eventually left and years later I wanted to put her on a team again.
Instead of making new ocs to put with Chris on a team, I went through my looooooooooooooooooooooong looooooooong list of rwby ocs and picked from there. It was a fun decision, I will say, because I get to think of dynamics from these established personalities.
I love development stuff.
