dawg worldbuilding for weird!verse is gonna be a pain in the ass, I decided on both marvel and dc (and whatever’s canon to ‘em) but thing is combined they have like 20 pantheons from myth and like… how the fuck do I combine Aztec “the world is an eldritch monster that needs to be feed” with Norse “reality is a tree”?

this is a most ambitious project but I am hopeful

I had an idea for the musical au (finally got a name and it’s “weird!verse”) where pretty much the government kidnapped a bunch of the mind control based villains to get said mind control and use it on “problematic cities”

so places like Gotham and NYC suddenly get covered in wires and radio towers as the inhabitants are mind controlled into being “better” aka forced crime removal

hard for joker to blow up a children’s hospital if he has to go work at the DMV

and he wouldn’t be joker just a random guy cause mind control pretty much obliterates your identity when it happens so they would be stuck screaming in their own heads as they’re forced to do shit

thing is it also affects heroes so Batman rather than crime fighting is just stuck as Bruce Wayne until he can break out of the mind control
