When I first started building websites, I looked at WordPress, but felt that Joomla was a more robust architecture with capabilities beyond what WordPress had to offer.
That is still true today, but after a few months managing some Joomla sites, I quickly realized that while WordPress was not as capable, it was far more popular, and it still is today.
