heyy, I noticed your post tags about wanting to make gifs of the DP2 ep at the guard post—I’m way too into DP and would love to make some gifs if you want to tell me what shots/subjects you’d like to see captured? That ep needs more gifs
hey! oh this is the coolest ask I've ever gotten for real and I'm right there with you on being too into DP it's a crazy good show. Here are some of the moments I thought about! I know nothing about gifmaking so these are just concepts I thought were cool. No pressure ofc, but I'll keep an eye out for anything you do make!
A set depicting the difference between the story Im Jiseop thinks happened and the truth of what happened would be sooo good
I love the line where Shin Ahwi says Jiseop's eyes have changed and Jiseop says "right? it fucking sucks but you're right." I felt like that would be such a good set
there are a number of times that someone says "if something happened here no one would know" and I thought that was really interesting. Especially when you learn about the actual truth that was covered up at the end, I thought those scenes in a set would be cool!
Something to depict the bulgogi story could be so good too like the hole in the fence, the way the fire reflects the story when Jiseop accidentally lights up the room after hitting Ahwi, and Ahwi's hands mending the hole
Something that shows the transition of Ahwi from who he was to how he started acting after the incident, maybe a moment from the true story where he's himself followed by the way he laughs at his scars and shouts at the end with the text at that moment "But after that, Ahwi began acting strangely, just like Jungseok."
Honestly anything from the scene where Jiseop loses it and 'interrogates' Ahwi that scene is crazy in the best way. Especially Ahwi's version of the bulgogi story. Also the moment Jiseop grabs Ahwi and tells him he's going to rip him apart 😃 both of those would be such good scenes to gif imo
Also unrelated to the ghost story I think this episode has one of the most interesting opening scenes with Junho and Hoyeol's conversation. The whole thing just feels so off in a way that's obviously clear at the end of the ep. I love that scene.
