Makaton taster session.

Just attended a lovely makaton taster session in The Hub, RCT. Makaton is used for many different reasons, by all ages. It is used to support children and adults with varying degrees of learning difficulties and is not a substitute for the spoken word. My Inspection Report.

During the summer school holidays I underwent a routine inspection with the CSSIW.

This was undertaken over two days to give the inspector plenty of opportunity to see as much as she could in my setting.  Currently CSSIW do not rate settings, but are going to be doing that in the next three years when they iron out the system.  My inspector informed me that if the rating system was up and running…
