Bro, bro, hells yeah. I have a weird fondness for Zoe x Pepper in which Pepper's afraid to confess her feelings for Zoe because she thinks Zoe's outside of her league and nothing like people she saw her date. I mean, she's not a tall, muscular man, right? So, in this case, she might try to court her by getting as close to her as possible under the cover of being just a good friend, and learning her preferences as much as possible so Pepper can start acting on them.

But also, in this specific scenario I think they all did that on purpose lmao. I mean, ain't no way all five people just had something more important to do, they planned it to get those two together >:3. Unless they were meeting up not with all of them. Omg wait, idea for that. What if they had a girls' night planned, but both Minka and Penny at the last moment couldn't make it, sooo Zoe and Pepper have an entire night for themselves. Bonus points if Pepper didn't know that until the last moment both Minka and Penny having only let Zoe know because the night was supposed to be at Zoe's place so when Pepper comes she's completely thrown off guard when only Zoe's there, not being ready for that at all.

Okay okay, I'm overthinking this. Maybe. I just, idk, like this scenario.

Zoe's dress is a Filipiniana. Filipiniana is used as a general term to describe traditional women's wear in the Philippines. It also goes by other names, depending on it's specific style and/or its region of origin.

Pepper is dressed in a Barong- an embroidered long sleeve shirt. Essentially formal wear for men, it combines elements from both precolonial native Filipino and colonial Spanish clothing styles.

In the drawing, they're dancing the Cariñosa- a courting dance that first originated in Panay Island, introduced to the Spaniards during their colonization of the Philippines. The fan and handkerchief play essential roles in the man and woman's romantic scenario.

Though, of course, I wanted to add my own twist to that.
