Start saving for your future self now. Not only with money but who you are, because as a human being we change what we like and who you are as a person. But most importantly hustle that your name sticks on those you want to be like and work with. Thank you to @papculturesa for making me listen to that voice inside of me! IAMAWAKE! Media Conference 2018
Hi guys what an honour to have been part of this year's 16th Annual Media Conference which focused on Mediatisation Media and changing environment this year and was held at the beautiful Cape Town School of Hotel.
This year we had the pleasure of being joined by Lance Witten, Courtney Africa and Allan Young to name a few. Each of the speakers that spoke at the conference mentioned one thing and that is to be authentic in anything that you do and that we as up and coming Public Relation Practitioner, Journalists and Film makers have the power to tell our stories in the best way we can.
Mostly what was reinforced through out the conference was how we can learn to use social media as a tool to get our message across and have collaborations with each other and outside of South Africa and challenge each other to be able to make our lives better through story telling as no one can do it better than us.
With the Cape Peninsula University of Technology Media department able to allow 1st year students to engage with former journalism and film graduates who are now editors of news paper's distributed across the country gives one that motivation to know that we are able to tell our stories with collaborations and engaging with ourselves to give a better message to our audiences.
