Releasing and Selling your product on Theme Pixie
Our marketplace is almost complete, we are currently finishing off some final tweaks before Themepixie is completely ready for business.
We have decided to set the marketplace commission rate to 40%, now this rate will decrease depending on internal campaigns and tasks you will be able to do, these campaigns and tasks will help promote your product and drive more sales.
The platform has been built on GIT and much like Github.com, you will be able to push to our servers when updating your product.
For anyone who is unaware of what GIT is, GIT is a code versioning system that will archive all code in a project, it supports branching, rebasing and many other powerful tools to make the developers job a lot more enjoyable.
As a store developer you will have full access to your products, you will be able to push, pull, clone and even fetch your products.
Please note that this is not the same system as Github, anything pushed to our servers is seen as a release and not a minor update.
Customers on the other hand will be able to clone your product or download a zip file containing your product.
We are really excited about this technology and we hope it will make your lives easier and speed up the release process for all products.
