Today was rough...
Today I had a big fight with my partner. I don’t usually like posting personal stuff like this but basically we have been stuck in a really tricky situation. Sometimes it makes me think this is all my fault for even suggesting to venture out and try something new because it has really placed us in limbo and sticky situation. Should I still feel grateful when my mental health is on the line? What happens when you’re not happy with your decision anymore? Where do you go from there? Should you keep your mouth shut, stick it out and pretend everything is okay until you finally reach your destination or do you make another tough decision that you know will make you feel better?

God is in control.
Living in fear and worries only robs you off of your borrowed time here on earth. Living life is terrifying, so liberating yet a humbling experience. Who do you place your trust in?
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” -Proverbs 3:5-6
How hard is it to get your shit together? Is it really that difficult to have a schedule? Or just to have a rough idea of what needs to be done? Maybe you’re too careless to even stop and make time for things. Maybe you’re too busy to make time to care for things outside of your routine. Maybe you just don’t know how to prioritise anything in your life at the moment.
One of my absolute pet peeves is when people don’t know how to get their shit together and then they end up being an inconvenience to other people around them. I’m not looking for perfection, nor am I asking for anything impossible to give. Just care enough to get things done or communicate things to people. Talk to people, be open to their ideas and have initiative when you’re working in a team.
This really gets to me because some people just get away with things all the time. No one really says anything or just brushes it off because they either can’t be bothered to tell that person or they’re scared. That could go for me as well because I don’t speak my mind as often as I should, but I feel that perhaps other people have given up on this person. I am still healing from my past and I don’t feel comfortable sharing my opinions with people due to my trauma. It’s frustrating and very mentally draining.
I’m frustrated, angry and annoyed at the same time. I’m annoyed at myself for always feeling so deeply, always looking out for people who don’t take time out of their day to give a shit about other people other than themselves. I’m angry because I’m all these things and sometimes I feel like I’m getting stepped on.
At the same time I do feel like these are all my expectations of people. At the end of the day, they don’t know what’s bothering me. They don’t know why that’s bothering me... only I would. I’m like this perhaps because of my frustration over what I think they should do and not accepting that they’ve done it in a different way.
