Symptoms of fibromyalgia you probably didn’t recognize

Toothaches

Extra tenderness around shots/blood draws

Random pins and needles

Random muscle spasms

Scalp tenderness

Extra painful period cramps

Painful numbness (i.e something feels numb but you know if it weren’t numb it’d hurt terribly)

Sensitivity to temperatures (i.e overheating easily when it’s hot/getting the chills easily when it’s cold)

Random muscle weakness

If you have fibromyalgia and you have these symptoms then good news, nothing is more wrong than normal (probably). We tend to think of fibromyalgia as just a pain disorder but because it’s a nerve disorder it can result in a number of symptoms that aren’t just pain.

If these symptoms are constant or in tandem with things unrelated to fibromyalgia they might be related to another condition so use your best judgement on when to seek further medical advice.
