One of things I love about cats is that they do have a sense of right and wrong. But it may not align with your values. They may still attempt to do something that they know they shouldn't do. And if you catch them, they'll stop. But if it's something they feel they should be allowed to do, there is a definite FU attitude and they'll do it anyways if caught.
