I didn't care much for this figure upon its release, but as the stores were clearing shelves to prepare for the influx of The Last Jedi figures, I decided to "rescue" this one for $0.98CAD. he needed love. and he got it. no sooner than we were back in the car, he'd been dubbed "Winter Coat Action Cassian Andor™" by my partner and he quickly and unexpectedly became one of my favourites. you can see especially on his feet that he's been in many a pocket and playtime. he lives with the other Star Wars toys that my daughter plays with and is somehow one of her favourites too, without any ushering from us. maybe it's because there aren't many becoated [sic] toys for Canadians, but more than likely, this particular Cassian just has good vibes. ooo I'm gonna say about six (ish) years ago I ran a homebrew D20 Star Wars campaign that had a custom rules podrace in Episode II.9 where all of the Hutts (duh) fronted racers and it was Brian the Hutt who put Dud Bolt (the only OG character) in. fast forward to now, I came across the 1983 Jabba for cheap with a missing arm that just needs some love and modification, and I can finally have the losing (whoops) duo in the flesh (plastic).
