Nothing inspires me quite like reading and yet Im rarely well enough to do as much as i like. and when I am, I often try to read all in one go. that goes about as well as imagined.

I don't normally go through my follows list but my dash is sort of incomprehensible. I deleted all my likes because I'm never gonna break out of 5k likes lmao. I dunno what to do with myself, but this is my second oldest account so I guess I better clean it up.
i am alive and very tired. What do people do with blogs these days?
Wow, yeah, okay. I hadn’t really realized all of the parallels to ace discourse because that happened long enough ago that it’s not (always) at the forefront of my mind.
But like…
I had it pointed out that “transandrophobia fandom” is a rehash of “aphobia fandom”
And also…
“Aphobia would actually mean fear of nothing, so your word is bad” vs “Transandrophobia would actually mean an intersection between transphobia and androphobia, so your word is bad”
“Aphobia implies sga and trans people are aspec peoples’ oppressors, so your word is bad” vs “Transandrophobia implies trans women are trans mens’ oppressors, so your word is bad”
“Sga and trans people made the LGBT community, go make your own! *proceeds to harass aspec people within aspec spaces*” vs “Trans women made the trans community, go make your own! *proceeds to harass transmasc people within transmasc spaces*”
“Aspecs aren’t oppressed enough to have space in LGBT conversations, and the oppression they claim to face doesn’t exist or is far lesser than anything sga and trans go through! *is shown statistics that say otherwise* Well we go through that too so it isn’t unique enough to make aspecs oppressed! Can they have space to talk, then? Absolutely not!” vs “Transmascs have male privilege and so shouldn’t have space in trans conversations, and the oppression they claim to face doesn’t exist or is whimsical compared to anything transfems go through! *is shown statistics that say otherwise* Well we go through that too so it isn’t unique enough to you to claim that experience as yours too!”
And I’m sure there’s more, this is just all my morning brain is giving me. Feel free to add some.
had an experience recently that unnerved me for a few reasons but I just realized that one of the reasons is because I was experiencing woman dysphoria. like I was being excluded from womanhood and it made me uncomfortable and sad. multigenderhood is a wild ride all the time
this is why being multigender in such an intensely binary world (even in "trans-affirming" spaces) is so interesting. sometimes im read as a queer woman and it's like. you aren't wrong but you aren't getting the whole picture. or I'm read as a queer man and it's the same thing. and it's like calling cyan green. like you aren't totally Wrong but there's a noticably different vibe from cyan and there's another half of it (blue) that gets ignored by just calling it green. and because people assume man and woman are exclusive categories, regardless of how they sort you they immediately start tailoring their behavior to either side, excluding you from certain things in their mind, and the overwhelming message that gets sent is "you can't be both you can't be both you can't be both".
And then there's the agenderness which also often gets excluded as people always want me to be in Something and sometimes I just simply do not care. And it's tiring having to play along with their gender games. Anyways psa please think about multigender people when you say things thanks
Being a weird little girl as a kid provides two options to you: becoming transgender or becoming a weird adult woman. Both of which are things the world needs more of

“Be My Queen” silver and pearl skull ring by Vermeer Jewelry
Plant leather (which is, at this moment in time, still made with plastic) and other plant materials will never be able to fully replace fur and leather. Full stop.
There's no "but—" here. We are always going to need fur and leather because there are always going to be people doing work that needs strong and durable clothing and living in places where those materials are the only viable options to not freeze to death. Cotton cannot replace fur in subzero tempratures. Linen will never offer the protection of real leather.
We have yet to find any viable alternatives that provide the same level of warmth and protection that real fur and leather provide, which makes sense considering those things have evolved over billions of years to be the ideal ways for animals to stay warm and protected.
Advocate for better conditons for farms, including fur farms. Push for companies to use sustainable ways of tanning and preparing hides. But there is no future where fur and leather won't be used at all unless your hope for our planet involves us all boiling alive and not having much need for any clothing at all.
In the past 24 hours I have seen three separate video essayists I admire talk about how YouTube is currently screwing them over with bullshit content claims. Something fucky is going on here.
Ask a Mortician, a channel that posts educational content about death and the funeral industry, is getting content claimed under accusations of "display of non-graphic bodies without educational intent" and "violence with blood and gore," among other things, which is completely untrue.
Dead Meat, a channel that does reviews and analysis of horror media, is getting aggressively hit with copyright claims despite all their content falling under fair use review and critique. The most recent claim is over single tiny clip in an hour long video.
Kaz Rowe, a video essayist who talks about history and media, is dealing with the same thing, over a tiny clip included in their video about the Wizard of Oz.
All three of these channels are ones I really enjoy and admire, so if you're looking for new content to check out, go give them some love? They're all fighting uphill battles just to get their work seen and could use the views right now.
Jessie Gender is now also getting hit. She's a trans woman making videos about gender, sexuality, and pop culture, and her new video has been hit with a strike for "sex and nudity."
I know that YouTube is generally garbage and has been garbage for ages, but four big channels I watch all getting hit in the span of just a couple days? Weird. Very weird. Not liking it at all.
