         “Thanks...” {/She’s more than grateful for the pain pills. While the pain was mostly gone now, she still had phantom pains. Almost as if she still had her foot. But when she moved it, there was nothing. Nothing but the prosthetic anyway. It wasn’t bad and she’s gotten used to walking on it, but she still missed having the real appendage there. Quickly opening the little bottle, she downs two pain pills without even needing any water.

          Once she has them downed, she hands the bottle back to the Johto native.}

         “--Thank you. I usually just ask Mary to help...but I just left the radio station and I don’t really want to go back again unless I really need to.”

         “...Anyway. You mean those lil’ guys that look like Pikachu? They’re kinda cute. I’m not gonna lie. But...I really like those birds. The ones that come in like four different forms. I like the pom-pom ones. They’re so cute and peppy.”

         “…You saved me and my brother from Ghetsis. Did you forget this?” {/She can’t help but feel a little offended. How could he forget her or her brother? He came in just as he was about to kill them, and he saved them both on the back of that dragon. Granted, Mei would love to have forgotten about this situation a long time ago. But she can’t completely rid herself of those memories.

          Still…it was possible he’s just seen her around because she’s a famous star.}

         “–I’m Mei Rosa Cardenas. PokéWood’s B listing actress.”

“I’ve made ‘em before, yeah. Uh.  .  .” He cocked a brow at the number of cones she wanted. Sanji never judged a woman based on their diet, but ten was a bit much even for something meant for Pokemon. “Are you sure you want ten? They might melt if they’re not eaten right away.”

         “Oh, I’m well aware! The lady I usually buy them from put a limit on me. And how am I supposed to feed both me and my team if I can’t buy my usual ten? Something about her needing to leave some for the other customers. Ever since my stupid brother started buying them...just cause he’s a former champion...all of a sudden everyone else wants them. And it doesn’t help that I’m a movie star, everyone wants what we want.”

                     Like any good tourist Kasai made it a point to visit every attraction a region had to offer while he was there. This included, after waiting a full week straight in Virbank City getting a chance to tour PokeWood Studios. His excitement was hidden beneath layers of awkward movements and fumbled speech as he struggled to speak Unovan as coherently and clear as possible, but boy was this going to be a treat! The movies that were produced here had become world wide hits so quickly, it always left him awestruck and waiting for more when he watched. The tour had been going for a good twenty, maybe thirty minutes before it finally dawned on Kasai that they would be actually meeting some of the actors and actresses on the set?! Paper…! He was quick to unpack his backpack in order to tug out the sketchbook and a pencil as he actively awaited being able to get an autograph or two. The teen could barely feel his face, his hands jittered with an anxious excitement as the book was held out to one of his favorite actresses.

                         “ A - Aw-toe-gur-if? “ Kasai attempted to sound out the word, though his cheeks tinted red as he heard himself speak it aloud. He really needed to brush up on his unovan better…

         “Ahh...excuse me?”

        {/For a moment, she’s positively perplexed. Where and how was she supposed to understand what this guy was trying to say if his Unovan wasn’t perfect? If anything...the only condolence to this was that he was positively adorable! Mei didn’t mind him approaching her, she’s had tons of people approach her due to her movies, photoshoots, and radio shows. She’s a pretty big star! However, her Bisharp was not exactly the most thrilled. The Sword Blade Pokémon came and stood beside her, making sure his presence was known and as menacing as possible. But as long as Mei seemed to be fine with everything, he would tolerate the stranger who approached without permission. Mei tried her best to understand what the stranger wanted...but it wasn’t exactly registering to her. Although something did click with her. He had a Kanto accent! The last time she lived in Kanto was when she was five. But they had the same dialect as the Johto region, right? Speaking up, she spoke in fluent, Johto/Kanto dialect.}

         ❝Hey there! I take it you’re from Kanto? Well, my name is Mei Rosa Cardenas. And it’s a pleasure to meet you! Is there anything I can help you with?❞

         “My apologies! Capture Extraordinaire.” {/Goodness, well this was a blunder on her part. Regardless, the star had better things to do than to worry over a simple blunder. She was corrected, and now knew better. She wouldn’t want to upset one of Johto’s stars after all. Connections were everything.}

         “--I know! That’s why I came to find you! And don’t worry, Mary is a friend of mine. Like...I’m Mei Rosa Cardenas. One of Unova’s top actresses. I do a bit of acting...some modeling...and some radio shows when it calls for it. I’ve done the radio show here before, but I didn’t stay long since I had to fly back to Unova like...the next day. Anyway, I just finished a new movie, and Mary asked me to come back. She said the talk could be on anything I wanted. So I asked around for some of Johto’s stars, and she mentioned you!”

       “ Man! Isn’t this something? See, I’m known for badass hearing, and while I can faintly see that your mouth is moving, I don’t hear a thing. God, I guess I gotta just try to figure out something to do on my own, huh? “

         “Whoa! So you’re known for your badass hearing!? Maybe if you strain your ears hard enough, you’ll be able to hear a Sewaddle fart! Cause you’re not really smart enough to understand anything past blue-collar humor. I think that’s the kind of movies you’re into anyway.”

         “Maybe you can’t hear from down there because you’re ‘short-circuiting’.”

            “I am, I am, don’t worry, geez.” Carefully, Nate rummages through his messenger bag and releases a quiet noise of triumph when he finds the small pouch containing the latest (and most expensive) version of the Xtransceiver, lifting it and cradling it gently within his palms as he holds it out for her to take. “Oh?“ He pauses, tilting his head, a flame of wonder igniting in his dark eyes as he blinks once, twice, three times in his surprise. “Yeah that sounds great! I’d love to be in the shoot with you!”

         “Thanks, Nate! I owe you so big for this!” {/Taking the Xtransceiver, she carefully turns it on. Not registering it to any name or number yet, but just making sure that everything works before they present it. Once she deems it good enough, she slips it on her wrist, before taking her standard model off and sliding it gently in her bag.} “Okay, go to my dressing room. Tell Maurice there that you need a costume change, you’re going to be in the shoot with me. He’ll handle your make up and everything else so you’ll be camera ready. Oh, and watch out. Sonia is sleeping in there. She doesn’t like to be woken up. She won’t attack you? But I’ll have to deal with her sulking the rest of the day if her nap is interrupted.”

          “ Shit. What? I’m not looking for some fight, bigfoot. “

         “Lies! There’s no reason someone like you would be approaching someone of my calibre unless you were looking for some action!”
