Not exactly a fic idea but just a realization that if Frost ever became a dad he might be a tiny bit overprotective like griko due to his own trauma of being separated from his parents he probably refuses that happening to his own kid

Just imagine others holding his little Tabaxi or some other creature if it's an adoption and he's just glaring at them scaring them so they don't drop his baby

Oh yeah totally. He wouldn’t be like, a “helicopter parent” in the annoying way but he’d be very protective of them getting taken away/being with strangers and yeah strangers holding his kid better not do anything or their mind might explode :0

Another layer to consider:

The unsettling feeling of ”I would never do this to my kids, but my parents/guardian figure did to me” would hit him like a truck if he became a dad

Like

Frost seeing adults behave cruelly towards him and internalising it as justified, ”because he was a bad kid,” and then have a kid of his own and realise that being cruel to his kid never even crossed his mind.

I think it would give him a new perspective of childhood that would be sort of harrowing, for he now has evidence that not all parents/guardians wish harm upon their young.

Stumbled upon this image and it reminded me of that one episode where everyone tried to get to the throne first so they all threw rocks at frost and he almost died
