So I finished my summer class yesterday, and since then I’ve been thinking a lot about what I will do after senior year of college. I know I’m moving back to my home city which I am very happy about. But I don’t know what I want to do in the future career wise. I can’t think of anything that is respectable and I would thoroughly enjoy. I know it’s okay to make coffee and wait tables for the beginning of my adult life. I just wish I had a plan or a career goal.

omg i just realized: u know when you really don’t want to study and procrastinate all day, etc.? studying is awful and you don’t want to do it. but. is it really that bad? i think this idea that studying is so boring and not fun is hammered into our mindset - be it from friends, media, … - that you automatically adapt this way of thinking and start to procrastinate. but put it into perspective: it’s probably not that bad, you get to learn something and the sooner you start the earlier you finish. in the midst of all the stress, pressure and annoying teachers (ya know our wonderful education system) we sometimes forget that we should cherish the opportunity of getting an education, which is completely understandable. so fake it till u make it. studying is fun now bitches

Night Watch is my personal favorite, too. Got me into the rest of the series. Also, I highly recommend Monstrous Regiment (you want feminism, here it is) and any of the Death books. Like, any. Death is one of the best characters in the Discworld.

(Word of warning: Those like me who have a corporal punishment squick, watch out. Sir Terry did have one particular blind spot there and he WILL set that off. Only once or twice a book, generally, but still. Just so you’re warned.)

The first book that really made me really like the series was Small Gods (2nd or 3rd book I read). I think Reaper Man is the first REALLY amazing one. My all time favourite is Night Watch, Going Postal is a close second.

Hi guys! So this happens every semester butttt I was so busy with uni that I didn’t post anything on here for like 2 months… which is very paradoxal since the reason I started this blog was to motivate myself by sharing study updates so I could look back on my process and also by seeing all your inspiring pictures and reading your motivating messages. But here I am, it’s the end of the semester (only 1,5 week left, help!) so I need that little bit of extra motivation.

i have fallen sick, whether to being stressed or overworked, im not sure. i was able to take today off school, so i have a three-day weekend. i was able to finish my business flashcards from chapter one and two to help with my study for the upcoming mid-term exams. my accomplishments today and yesterday weren’t much, but it was honest work:

complete a “leg day” workout at gym

complete flashcards from chapter one

complete flashcards from chapter two

have six naps in twenty-four hours woah
