Code Testing Stage
Having trouble with using the larger stepper motor however many resources online have wiring charts and codes which I am playing experimenting with.
Images:
1. Stepper Motor driver. Allows larger stepper motors to be driven from Arduino chips.
2. Arduino Nano fixed to breadboard
3. Microphone for readings of sound
4. Crimped wires done by myself as the Stepper Motor did not come with female plugs.
Detail images of final mechanism.
Gantry will hold up a 3D printed fastener that will allow the applicator to suspend above the spinning canvas.
NEMA17 Stepper Motor - very similar to motors used in UPBOX printers
Non closed section of GT2 belt to attach to gantry slider and run through the driver system
First look at the extrusion and gantry slider. Wiring and getting this small stepper motor was straight forward however the 28BYJ motor had very little speed.
The Idler bearing can be seen in the third photograph. This will hold the GT2 belt stable on the non driving end of the mechanism.
