SPREADING RUMORS ABOUT THEM
you didn't have any real reason to hate sieun, but you did. you were the devil on yeongbin's shoulder, telling him to bother sieun, and you did so yourself as well, but not to his face. more so, you would spread rumors about him: "sieun is dating a man", "sieun doesn't have parents", "sieun cheats on every test". the kind of things you thought would hurt him the most. he always knew it was you talking about him to everyone, and one day, he got fed up with it.
you were in your house, faintly watching tv while mindlessly scrolling through your phone, and then you heard a knock at the door. you walked towards it, wondering who it could be, and opened it. it was sieun, looking defeated as ever. you laughed in his face.
"what's up?" you asked, still giggling. he pushed you into your apartment and closed the door behind him. "woah, what do you think you're doing?" he didn't answer, just looked around.
"are your parents home?" he asked
"no, what do you care?" you questioned back. he immediately kissed you. "hey, i don't like you like that." you said once he pulled away.
"neither do i." he answered and took your shirt off, while you were muttering insults under your breath. you covered your chest out of instinct. "keep your hands to your sides." he ordered
"sieun, what the hell is wrong with you?" you exclaimed, and he forced your hamnds behind your back, kissing you agressively.
"i'm here to teach you about the consequences of your actions." after that, he spent the whole night punishing you for spreading rumors about others.
you weren't sure how or why it started, but you despised suho. the way he was so confident, the way he was always sleeping in class, the way he knew how to defend himself. it all drove you crazy. so, you started spreading rumors about him. rumors like: "suho is dating sieun", "suho lost the fight against wooyoung", "suho is part of a gang". anything that would bring his reputation down a bit. eventually, he got sick of it.
a soft knock on your door woke you up from your sofa nap. you hesitated, but got up and opened the door. suho was on the other side.
"what are you doing at my house?" you ask, tired and confused.
"are you alone?" he asks back. you nod instinctively. he immediately leans his head forward, kissing you softly. "is that what you were looking for? huh?" you shake your head and mouth a 'no', reconsidering your feelings for him all in a second. he laughs at you and pushes you inside, kicking the door shut with his foot.
"what are you doing here, suho?" you ask and he leans forward and kisses you again.
"you must be really desperate for me to spread rumors like that."
"i'm not, i just want to piss you off."
"but why?" you stutter. "exactly. you hadn't realized it yet, but there's something about me that attracts you. that makes you wonder. that makes you want to catch my attention." you look into his eyes. the rest of the night, he punished you for trying to get his attention in such dumb ways.
beomseok wasn't a confrontative person at all, and he was used to having rumors spread about him. but there was something about you that made him hesitate. maybe it was how pretty you were, maybe it was him growing tired of it. either way, he wanted you to regret everything you had ever said about him. you didn't know him, not at all, but the rumors you spread about him were surprisingly accurrate: "beomseok cries himself to sleep at night", "beomseok's parents hit him", "beomseok is third-wheeling in his friendship with sieun and suho". and that made it hurt much more. everybody knew beomseok was a little out of his mind, but you never expected him to actually act on it.
yet here you are. at your door, seeing beomseok, looking disheveled. he had a few bruises decorating his face.
"i would say what about the other guy, but you probably didn't even get a single punch in." you snarked at him. he took a step forward and looked into your eyes. his looked teary. "woah, dude, did you come to my house to cry? after all the signs i've given you that i despise you?" in a second, his expression changed and he kissed you hungrily.
you tried to pull back, but he pulled you by your shirt's collar closer towards him. then he pushed you inside, still kissing you and let the door close behind him. he started taking off his shirt, revealing his body, marked with many more bruises.
"who did this to you?" you asked, a spark of concern in your voice, but he shut you up by kissing you again. the rest of the night, he took out all of his anger on you.
'what the hell is he doing here?' were the only words running through your head when you saw jeon yeongbin at the other side of your door. he looked satisfied, happy even. that's when you remembered. all the rumors you'd spread about him before switching schools. there was no way it would never catch up to you, and it finally did.
"so i've been asking around for quite a few weeks now. turns out everybody has the same answer as to who said such things about me. you? that's embarassing, i should be the one spreading rumors about him, but i didn't, 'cause i'm a nice guy." he steps into your apartment without permission. "you, on the other hand, have been a very bad girl. who even taught you these tactics?" he leans his head forward, close enough to kiss you. "you made it. you got my attention." he waits for a few seconds, the air between you feeling more and more heavy. you didn't say a thing, you couldn't. his eyes shifted to your lips for a split second. "what, cat got your tongue?"
"i don't regret anything i said, those weren't rumors, those were facts." you finally snapped back
"facts? you don't know me y/n." he looked almost offended, and you liked that.
"are you gonna cry about it?" you teased, trying to push his buttons.
"you're gonna be the one crying." he said, before kissing you agressively, his hands gripping and pulling your hair tightly, making sure you couldn't pull away. you were taken aback, of course, but you weren't exactly mad at the situation. you might hate yeongbin, but you can't deny he's a good-looking guy, and, turns out, a surprisingly good kisser. the way his tongue slipped into your mouth was almost automatic, and you didn't think you would ever complain about what was happening.
you couldn't stop yourself. you were mad at him, and you didn't even have a reason. perhaps it was the way you had lost a fight against him during boxing practice at the club, but you weren't sure. regardless, you wanted to hit him were it hurt (pun intended). and what better way than to spread rumors about him? it was perfect, you would ruin his reputation, make him mad, and he would never find out who started them, right?
wrong. because here you were, at your door, kang wooyoung looking angry and serious and you just had a gut feeling that it had something to do with what you had said about him.
"can i help you?" you asked, putting on your 'i'm innocent and don't know what this is about' act.
"actually, yes." he stepped into your apartment unprompted. you took a step back mechanically. "it just so happens to be that, no matter how much you pay people, they will talk if you beat them up."
"i don't know what you're talking about." you say, clearly lying.
"oh really? let me paint a picture then. you're mad because you lost yet another fight and want to piss your defeater off. you think and think and then an idea pops into your mind. rumors." you nod as if following. he leans his head forward towards you. "you look so good playing dumb." then instantly his lips crash onto yours. all night long, he taught you what happens when you spread rumors about somebody.
you always found baku annoying. probably just because he had a big and outgoing personality. he was pretty much everything you wanted to be, and you admired him for it. but you also hated it. the way he was friends with everyone, the way he took care of all of them, the way he was so athletic. it all drove you insane. not crazy over or about him, just crazy because of him. and what better way to bring him down than to spread rumors about him.
little did you know he would find out it was you who started them. it didn't start out as a huge deal, just as little glances while you were having lunch, staring at you while in class, and walking right behind you while they ended. you didn't think much of it, just thought 'yeah i'd be mad at me too'. but you weren't aware of the feelings taking place inside of baku. these feelings were telling him he should punish you, make you really regret every single lie you told about him. and just like that, he gave in.
you heard a heavy knock at your door and walked towards it. you opened the door and saw baku, wet because of the rain that had caught him on the way. you laughed automatically.
" what? you need an umbrella?" you teased. he laughed, but not honestly. he laughed like he was about to prove a point. he took a step inside of your house, his shoes squelching with the water. "ew, you're gonna drench my house" you exclaimed. suddenly, you felt a hand on your waist and then a pair of lips against yours. you pushed him off immediately. "dude, i don't like you like that." he smiled in a way you had never seen before, it was almost possesive, with a hint of craziness in it. then he kissed you again. you're not sure why, but you let him. the next few hours he spent making sure you could never say anything bad about him again.
you knew there was no valid reason to hate gotak, but you simply did. perchance it was the way he always overachieved you in every way. whether in p.e., math, social studies or taekwondo. welp, not anymore 🤣. but he really did use to. that way, you slowly built resentment towards him, and by the time you guys were seventeen, you made a decision. a decision that would screw up his reputation. you started spreading rumors about them. at first they were stupid, like "i've been told gotak's feet smell like cheese". but then, they turned more personal, like "you know why gotak never talks about his parents? they kicked him out of the house. that's why he's always with baku, he lives with him now." these started annoying him recently, but powerfully.
you were thinking about your actions at the exact moment that the doorbell rang. you shaked your head as if to push the thoughts away and got up to open the door. once you did, you were met with the familiar frame of gotak's body.
"you got a minute?" he asked politely. you laughed at him cruelly.
"dude, what could we possibly talk about? we're not anything." that word stung him more than it should. 'come on, not even enemies? whatever' he rolled his eyes and looked down at your lips for a second. his expression turned immediately.
"yeah, why? are you in love with me? don't think i didn't notice how--" you were interrupted by his lips on yours. you didn't react.
"i'm gonna make you beg for me." he stated honestly.

you were part of the union, but don't get it wrong, you hated baekjin. he always had this superiority complex that made your skin crawl. 'who does he think he is' running through your mind everytime he gave an order. so, you devised a plan with seongje, who also resented him. seongje is a bit more... careless, if so to say, so clearly he was gonna be the bait. you would come up with rumors and seongje would spread them, making sure everybody kept their mouth shut about who had told him what. what you hadn't taken into consideration was how afraid everyone was of baekjin, so, yes, once he asked who it was spreading rumors about him to eunjang, people confessed it was you who started it all. his veins were burning with anger. it's not like he appreciated you or anything, but, come on. a girl? seriously?
to put it simply, he called you to his office. when you walked in, he was doing some useless homework.
"hey, what's up?" you asked, unaware of his knowledge. he didn't raise his head
"i heard you've been spreading rumors about me to people." your face couldn't hold back a laugh, so you looked to the ground and bit your lip
"not at all, sir." you teased.
"don't call me that." he ordered. you nodded.
"so, can i go?" you asked, pointing to the door with your thumb.
"no." he finally looked at you. he got up and got close to you. really close. you were suddenly aware of how much he towered over you. his gaze slipped to your lips, and soon after, his own met yours.
"i'm gonna make sure you never say anything that isn't true about me again." he said, almost threateningly.
seongje. how to describe seongje? actually, nevermind, it's pretty simple. three words: insane, cruel and hot. that last one hurts more than it should. let's focus on the second one though. you had met seongje about 3 weeks ago, a bit after you entered the union. you were close to baekjin, and he always told you when seongje said something bad about you, which was constantly. so, you decided to fight fire with fire. you started spreading rumors about him, except not to one person, but to everyone. this man was obsessive though, so after threatening everybody and beating up quite a few guys, he found out it was you. you were the one talking shit about him.
your doorbell rang. you walked to the door and opened it, surprised when you saw seongje on the other side, smiling as always.
"hey, what are you--?" without a second thought, he grabbed you by the neck and started kissing you hungrily and messily. you hesitated for a second, did he like you and that's why he talked badly about you? but no, this was no romantic, passionate kiss. this was an angry kiss, an 'i'm gonna make you regret what you did' kiss. either way, you kissed back. you didn't have anything else to do and you'd be lying if you said seongje wasn't attractive. when you kissed back, he pulled away
"is that what you were looking for? my attention? my mouth on yours?" he questioned agressively.
"what? no? dude you kissed me first, are you the one in love with me?" he laughed like a crazy person.
"you wish. where's your room?" the rest of the night, you spent together, basically attacking each other.
