Grace Rocky save stars!
If i had a nickel every time i watched a movie where a pathetic man gets send in a religion themed suicide mission in space by an angry woman because the stars are dying and meets an alien that is the reason he doesn’t get back home, i would have two nickels
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice in the same year
not sorry for the person I’ll become when Raye’s next album will come out. Or The Amazing Devil’s next album. Music Posesses my very Soul and you will know about it
okay so I knew that raye was an amazing artist but her new album genuinely belongs in a museum.
I'm actually so gobsmacked at how well the whole thing is composed and arranged, from start to finish each song felt truly her own.
and there were so many different genres – from 50s scat to edm – yet somehow none of them felt out of place.
idk how she does it, such a unique album that deserves all the credit.
Raye's new album was absolutely insane, one of my top albums of all time. Also something that strikes me about her is that she really takes her art seriously. Like taking the time to have an intro, outro where she actually lists all the names of her credits, and also at the start/end of some songs she goes "this is a song about" "this is a sad song" etc. She KNOWS this album is gonna take us on a WHOLE JOURNEY and she made sure she made a piece of ART with a lasting legacy and timeless themes. Um this has accidentally become a music review uh 10/10 highly recommend
THIS SONG IS CRACKKKK
