In this moment

The thoughts running through his head were probably the Monorail movement and thinking about how he may lose Ben again after he promised he wasn't gonna lose him again back on the island. But this time he may actually lose him because he knows how dangerous the thagomizers are and that you can die from them. So Darius was probably internally breaking down about how he may lose Ben all over again and he couldn't do anything to save him and it'll be all his fault.
