IMO, I’d go with no? Because it looked like Sherlock wanted to say something else when John kept insisting that he needs someone to teach him to be the man people think he is.

And I think Sherlock Holmes already has that someone, and it is, not only in this tv series but in every adaptation out there, none other than John Watson.
