There was a growl of frustration as the teen shut the book. Nothing. Once again he was finding out nothing that he wanted to know. No mention of Iblis or any other god tied to it. Lucus wasn't able to find anymore information on Angel Island as he did back home in the palace.
His sister was beside him, giving a frown. She was only there to help him read and it was all quite boring to her. Seeing how mad he was didn't make her any happier though. "Let's go play with Locke." She said as she grabbed onto her older brother's hand.
"Come on! I don't know why you're working so hard, but playing for a little bit will be good!" A tug given to his arm before he gave in.
He tried to think of places he hadn't looked yet. Perhaps he had been slightly obsessed with figuring out what god Murk had been and where their version had gone. But part of it was the scary feeling that he could be out there... waiting to hurt the family.
Part of it was just plain curiosity.
He had checked books and records back home. He had checked both the Echidna records and literature that had come from off Angel Island. He even got his Bibi Yana to talk to Chaos about it. Nothing. Nothing as if Murk didn't exist. But he had to exist. His grandfather remembered him.
Lucus was missing something, but it was hard to know what that something was.
"There he is!" Amara dragged him out of his thoughts. "Locke! Let's play a game!"
