Let's wait for another summon.
Thinking about Jon being stuck in a time-loop.
Specifically Jon having to rebuild connections at every reset and isn’t it just so exhausting. Imagine trying to explain to what is basically a complete stranger that you have gone through hell together and every time they look at you and there is nothing of the person you met behind their eyes.
Now instead imagine Elias being the one Jon finally confides in. Only instead of having to try to explain he can just know? He can pull those thoughts and feelings out thumb through them like a story, but the emotions attached are still there. Sure the main emotion is fear, but look let me have this.
So now he’s not alone, sure Elias isn’t in the time loop, but unlike everyone else he at least has some grasp of the pain Jon is going through. The only one who can understand even a fraction of what he has gone through. So who can really blame him when he crawls back to him each time?
