I’m putting my answers under because wordy ramblings:
No surprise to say that Oli is my favourite, the reason I got into the game. I like shiny things and shiny things that on your nips are even better. All on a nun (priest) too! But I love his character. Religious guilt but still holding on to the core beliefs on your religion. Sexually repressed up bringing but VERY MUCH not letting that stop him now. Hidden darkness within but too much love to let it out. Complicated view of oneself and much self-hatred but still trying to be better for the ones around you and therefore bettering yourself. My god, these are check points of a religious lesbian?!
I also just very much love openly very sexual characters, what can I say! Him being more open and comfortable and forward when it comes to sex as the game goes on. Knowing his wants and needs but knowing what partners can give him at the time too. Like I love that.
Kuya and Blade are both my second favourite. Don’t make me choose. I love the horrible nightmare of characters being put through immorality and the different ways they way they react. But these two are on the opposite side.
Blade: because he is a ball of sunshine even thought the world has NOT BEEN KIND TO YOU. Being used and used and used OVER AGAIN but still never letting that take away from what he is. Wanting to experience and love and BE!!!!
(Side ramble: I know that Huey’s essence is what powers him and that thought: it’s what made him awake to being more human like. But with Rusted Nation event I think that even if he didn’t run into Huey and was just abandon or left to rot by his maker I still think we would get a Blade ((just not with the same experiences)) we have. I believe there was always a Blade when he was first made and the only thing that Huey really gave him was the ability ((even for a short time before being left in the darkzone)) be free and able to see the world without. Even if that wasn’t what originally Huey was after, it was someone to do a task, the interest of Blade learning was a just another thing he found that came with it. I still think that if he was on his own without his maker or Huey, with time his curiosity would have gotten the better of him, and he would have lived even earlier than he was allowed to.)
Kuya: letting the hate get to him too much, seen too much but also has given too much in return. But something inside still lets him hope even if he a stubborn little bitch about it. Also, I cannot not love a canonically genderfluid lesbian. Even if she is a total bitch. That just makes it better unfortunately. <3
As for ships? Hmm! The mansion is just a big poly house so I really just like everyone different dynamic with everyone. But that is a piss easy answer soo:
I’ve liked Kuya and Oli together from the start. (they were the first nukari fanart I did back when OG SSR Oli and Lakeside Spark were the only SSR healers in the game) The idea of them hate fucking because Oli was going to beat the shit out of Kuya with his bibble when they first met is very good. I know the first thought of how their characters are, they probably would fall into the JUST hate each other, but I don’t know, there was just something that wasn’t right with them just hate fucking. Their characters complement each other too much to JUST be that.
Then Welcome to Elysium happened and GOD THAT WAS IT I love their dynamic. Two character’s that struggle with moving on with life. A part of them wanting hate to just consume them and burn the world but just being unable to do so because SOMETHING is just keeping them too grounded to do so. Oli being trusting of Kuya to allow him to test him, show him the ugly and face it and come out more loving than he already was. And Kuya seeing that life and love in him and at the end being open to try something that he probably hasn’t done in so long.
Now they just casual with each other. And I love that.
Also, they’re SEXUALLY SO COMPATIBLE!!! KUYA HAS A FUCKING WALL OF FLOGGERS AND THEY ARE COLLECTING FUCKING DUST; OLI’S ASS IS RIGHT THERE TO BE SLAPPED WITH MORE THAN JUST A FUCKING HAND!!!!!!
Oli and Morvay is a fucking given. One adventurous free older lesbian showing the baby lesbian the world and helping them explore the sex world in a happy and healthy way with no judgement with full excitement. Like Morvay knowing the best people outside of the mansion for orgies that will blow Oli’s brain, come on. Also, they just besties, going out on food dates and seeing new places, going to sex stores and giggling on the walk out with new stuff, like BESTIES!!! AND one is a DEMON and one is a NUN?! CUTE!!!!
Kuya and Rei are probably my favourite from the older clan members. Kuya and Quincy are very much gross bitter exes that tolerate each other SOMETIMES. But Kuya and Rei are exes that still “””unintentionally””” seek each other out. Comfortable in each other’s silence. Patch each other up without asking. Spend the night with each other before leaving the bed cold and not talk about it the next day. Read each other with only a look. But cover it all up with harsh words. They are both two strong headed to ever really just be together but they have what they have and that’s all they really need.
I should also say Yakumo and Oli because I surprisingly draw them a lot. Two characters that has a form of darkness that they try to hide, hurting themselves to keep it in. Both unforgiving on themselves but help the other out and unintentionally helping themselves out in return.
But again just very sexual compatible. Them being sexually activate at the same time and so learning wants and needs, going from being shy and not wanting to take too much but realising they both VERY much want the same thing is so very cute to me. I feel like Oli would give the best post sex cuddles and Yaku very much loves and needs that. Also let Yaku go full snake, Oli very much love and NEEDS that uwu
Blade and happiness is my favourite ship ever. I need my whimsy bot to be happy.
AKA to say I don’t really like Blade with just one person? He is very much POLY and open. I love how he can worm his way in everyone in the mansions heart; how easy it is for him to leave outside and just make friends. How sexually adventurous he is and down to try new and weird things and giggle about it. Don’t lock him down, he has too much love to give to the world!!!
