Managed to do a painting activity post-nap and pre-work with Mini Z. I think we got another picasso on our hands, eh @trentnzizes? #blessed #miniz #childart #toddlerartwork #mommyandmepainting
I think to myself, I think to myself
This world is a beautiful place
I have been blessed
And I feel like I've found my way
I thank God for all I've been given
At the end of every day
I have been blessed
With so much more than I deserve
To be here with the ones that love me
To love them so much it hurts

Saturday nights were always the most exhausting at Kuft. Most of the staff was dismissed around 11 - except for one submissive, one Dominant and one bartender - but the club itself didn’t close until 1:30. On those nights, Lauren usually found herself wandering the club, talking to patrons and on some rare occasions even participating in light bondage scenes with those same patrons.
Tonight was a little different though, with Rhi being out. Lauren found herself wandering around more, wanting to make sure the patrons were happy and taken care of. When Rhi was there, she never had to worry. These next few nights without her would be interesting. They would manage, of course, but those clients that had come to enjoy Rhi’s attention wouldn’t be able to have it for a few nights and she hoped that didn’t make the business suffer any. They’d more than likely spend time with Tanya or Emily, of course, but it wouldn’t be the same. No one was the same as Rhi.
By the time the club was cleared out, cleaned and closed for the evening it was around 2:15 am, and the ten minute walk home on top of that only furthered the perpetual state of exhaustion she seemed to be in. The only upside to this particular Saturday night was that things had finally settled down at home and Lauren was able to return to work. Even better, she knew that when she got home they would both be asleep and she’d be able to turn in for the night with ease.
The door to the bedroom lets out a little squeak as she opens it and god it’s the loudest sound she’s ever heard in the silence of their apartment. She stands there for a long moment, listening closely for any sound before slipping into the room and moving toward the bed. The door is purposefully left open to reduce the chance of it squeaking again and to give her a better path to hear if Mati starts crying down the hall.
It’s only moments after her nightgown is pulled on and she climbs into bed that she feels further movement and an arm wrapped around her waist. There’s a kiss pressed to the back of her shoulder and a murmured, “Hey Mama. How was your day?”
“It was good.” A yawn escapes her lips as she turns to face her boy. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages though.”
Trent chuckled and gave her a playful roll of the eyes. “Well it’s not my fault you had a date today and were gone since 10 am.” After a moment, he spoke again but his voice was quieter. “How was your date with Outlaw?”
The jealousy in his voice brings about this school-girl like giggle as Lauren leans in to give Trent a quick peck on the lips. “It was good. She’s.. interesting. Definitely someone to keep my eye out on.”
“Oh...” There’s a pout on his lips now and he presses in closer. “But I’m still your favorite, right?”
Lauren takes a moment to pretend to think about it, only furthering her boys pout, before she leans in to kiss him again. “Always.” She murmurs against his lips, “Always my favorite.”
