He was surprised the librarian didn't recognize him. From the day he stepped foot into UA, to now, everyone had known who he was because of his father.

Todoroki is pacing his room, one of his feet searing into the carpet as his body overheats in rage. “Eijirou,” Todoroki spat, turning at him, “That wasn’t me being real mad, no, that was me wanting to beat you in the goddamn sportsfest! And dont try to tell me about keeping a cool head. You got mad at me for touching a lighter I didnt know was special and after a day of my PTSD acting up!”

Todoroki turned and growled, “If you arent actually gonna help me, then leave! I love you, but for fucks sakes you are not helping!”

Todoroki rubbed his eyes as he walked closed to Neito, taking his hand and sitting in his lap, looking out the window. "Our future?"

He paused, thinking. There was a lot he wanted for them. To work side by side, some day get married, maybe adopt a kid or two.

"I think it holds a lot more than we can dream of right now," he said softly, looking up, "why what's on your mind?"

Todoroki was in a pile on the ground, trying to stand again as Kirishima came out to meet him. He hadn't wanted the love of his life to see him like this. A bloody mess after another fight with his father. He wasn't planning on letting anyone see him like this. Bloody, the bright red dripping from his mouth, his father would most definatly have teeth marks on his knuckles the next morning. When he went to talk, more blood spilled from his mouth.

"E-Ei," he managed, finally getting back on his feet, "shshsh d-dont please. I-Im fine."

A hand went to his mouth, wiping at the blood that slowly stained his shirt.

"P-Please. You can't tell anyone..."

Todoroki was panting as he made it back to campus. His trip home had not gone any where near as planned. When his father invited him to the family home for a family dinner, with his sister and brother in attendance, he couldn't say no. Not when his siblings would be there. So he went home. But when his siblings weren't there and his father refused to let him leave, he just stayed away the best he could. But it didn't work. He got pulled from his room for dinner, knowing thatas a hero student he needed to eat. So he went to dinner, which turned into a screaming match between him and his father, resulting in a fight. After he got sucker punched, he went back to his room, locking himself in for the rest of the night.

The next morning, as he was leaving to go back to the dorms, Endeavor was waiting for him. He was fuming too. So when his father gave him another quick hit in the face, he iced the bastards feet and made a break for it, breaking rules and using his quirk to get back to campus as fast as he could. But it wasn't fast enough, by the time he got back, he was late to class, still in casual clothes, and was a bloody mess. So instead of going to his homeroom, he went to find a teacher. And who else did he run into than Present Mic.

He did his best to hide his face as he saw the teacher.

"M-Mic-Sensei," he said softly, "Can I speak with you in private..."

Todoroki swayed a little. Maybe sparring with a fever hadn't been a good idea. He had trained when sick many times, no one could ever tell he was sick anyways. But now he was starting to regret it.

"Y-Yeah. Water. Sounds good."

He reached a hand out for the offered bottle and instead swiped at empty air. When had the double vision started.

"I-Im..." And he collapsed.
