The day was way too hot for five people to be trapped in a car all day. Especially a car filled with teenagers of all fuckin’ things. But that was... well that was how this day was going to go wasn’t it?
No wonder he was on his third cigarette of the day and it was only 9 am.
One second Dojima is tipsy (not drunk, mind you) promising Nanako and Souji a day at the beach. The next second he is drunk (he had to be) promising his nephew that ‘yes, of course you can bring Hanamura and Amagi and Satonaka with you or whatever, now pass me that bag of chips...’ This should have been a mistake but well... a promise was a promise.
So here he is now, waiting for Souji and his daughter to get out of the house and pack the trunk full of watermelon and the other “necessary beach accessories” that Nanako had been talking about all week. Also waiting for the other teenagers but well, if the other two were out quick enough maybe he could speed away real fast....
It’s not that he didn’t like the kids. On the contrary, he was happy Souji had some friends. He was just still not great at this whole parental responsibility thing and now he had add too more people under 18 to his list of people he had to watch? It was just a little inconvenient for his paid day off.
He dropped his cigarette butt and ground it under his heel as he saw heads approaching. Well, shit. Leaving without ‘em was out of the window.

Chie huffed and lifted the two picnic baskets in each hand. With a big beach bag slung around her shoulder and a backpack on her back she was pretty sure she looked like a pack mule. But well her body could handle it.
Looking off to her side she smiled, catching sight of Yosuke at her side looking ready for a beach day in some magazine or something. They had met up on the road to the Dojima household and well, of course she was going to walk the rest of the way with him. Chie was surprised they hadn’t seen Yukiko either...
She groaned for a moment under the weight of the baskets and wished she could wipe a sheen of sweat from her brow. Full hands didn’t make that easy.
“Okay, now just remember alright? These baskets? That’s the lunch I made for all of us, there’s extra too so if we stay late it can be dinner too so long as we get creative. The backpack’s got car snacks just in case anyone gets hungry on the way so we don’t dip into the food.” Chie trailed off making sure he was paying attention.
“...Got it, space cadet?”
I made a Futakuchi-Onna! Her name’s Yukiko.

Send in “kabedon” to pin my muse against the wall.
Yukiko let out an involuntary gasp as the other girl pinned her to the wall. “Wh-what are you doing?”
“Is this your bunny? It’s very cute and sweet.”
@snoweternal
“Yes~! This is my baby Cinnabun~” Crouching down next to his elaborate pen - complete with an actual little house and several levels - she gingerly picks up the fluffy little creature and brings it closer to Yukiko. Cinnabun sniffs the air a few times and glances at the stranger, twitching his nose at her but looking otherwise unperturbed by her presence.
“Would you like to hold him?”
Everyone Has A Tarot Card That Matches Their Personality...
You got: The Lovers!
You’re someone who’s very in touch with your emotions and beliefs. People can’t help but notice how authentic you are — they find comfort in the fact that what they see is what they get and trust you easily. You might be a bit of an oversharer at times, but you have an open heart and are always happy to share it with others.
You got: Death!
You can be a bit intense and find yourself drawn to dark and mysterious things. You’ve been through a lot and have probably seen your fair share of endings, but probably cope with it through humor. On top of that, you are surprisingly easygoing — you’re open to change, try not to let past baggage weigh you down, and seek out new experiences.
What Color Is Your Soulmark?
The color you fit most is Green!
Loyal, down to earth, and friendly, the green personality type lives a “live and let live” lifestyle. They are calming to be around and choose to listen and observe more than they speak. This type tends to be a shoulder to cry on in times of need, and they often take care of others before themselves.
When working, they see the big picture instead of little details. This makes them lose faith in their projects if they’re moving too slow or not achieving what they want, and they often jump from topic to topic without meaning to.
Green soulcolors are emotionally intelligent, and they pay attention to body language and verbal cues. If you’re lying, they’ll be the first to know. They are honest about themselves and their motives, being the most sincere color out there. However, they are less likely to give themselves credit and often brush off compliments.
This color is people oriented and loves to be friendly. They are also people pleasers and don’t like to stir up conflict, and they will often choose to go along with an idea they hate as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone. Since they are so loyal, they don’t tend to see the bad in those they care about, and it often gets them into trouble when dealing with toxic people.
“And another one bites the dust...” In age, that is... as Yosuke has finally joined Souji on reaching the tender age of twenty-four among their ‘94 lot. “...With Chie-chan up to bat next.”
