Fred knew Daphne better than he knew anyone else. He knew right away his words caught her off guard and now he feared he'd said the wrong thing. Had his intentions upset her? Even if Daphne were to break his heart right then and there Fred would never love her any less. There were the what ifs, of course. Like what if she could never look at him again knowing his feelings and not returning them? What if she hated him? His expression started to falter when she didn't say anything at first, but he too was at a loss for words. He wasn't sure what to say next, or at all. He felt a pit in his stomach for a brief moment before she spoke up. His expression completely changed and eyes went slightly wide and his mouth opened a little but no words came out at first. She'd caught him off guard. It wasn't the first part of what she said that caught him off guard though. Those initial words had only caused the pit in his stomach to lighten.

I'm always happy when I'm with you, Fred. The words ran through his head, over and over again. Those words could have possibly changed everything. Fred's heart was pounding and was in slight disbelief of what she was trying to say. Did she possibly...return his feelings? Had he been so blind as to not notice before? Was he that foolish? He knew he had to say something but he had so much to say to her that he couldn't form the words. He wanted to tell her he loved her and that he'd waited years to be able to finally tell her how he felt. As much as Fred wanted to go home he would never go if Daphne and the gang weren't coming with. Especially Daphne. He couldn't imagine his life without her. He would be lost. "Oh, wow, uh...I didn't think this far ahead." Fred always had a plan for everything, but he'd never thought that this would be her reaction. "Daph, I--" He bit down on his lip for a moment. He was supposed to have said something more reassuring to her than that. "I'm-- I mean... What I'm trying to say is...I'm happy when I'm with you too." He let out a breath he had been holding in. "It took me way too many years to finally admit that...you're the only person for me. You're my soulmate, Daph." He begins to feel a bit calmer and an awkward, goofy smile appeared on his face as his expression softened. "All I've ever wanted was to go home but, to tell you the truth, I feel most at home when I'm with you."

Ever since Fred and Daphne finally admitted their undying love for each other he had been on cloud nine. He was happier than ever, knowing she felt the same way he had all these years. Daphne seemed to be the only thing on his mind lately. If they weren't together they were texting each other. Fred hadn't felt like this in a long time, nor had he ever felt this much love for someone so strongly. Fred was going to treat her right though, he promised himself that. Daphne deserved the world and he was going to give it to her. With as quickly as she was responding to his texts he figured she couldn't be too busy. At one point he finally texts, if you're not doing anything tonight be ready by 7. Wear something nice. :) Fred suddenly got butterflies in his stomach as he had impulsively made a plan in his head and went with it. He should take her on a proper date, she deserved that much. The only problem was Fred thought it was a lot earlier until he looked at the time and realized it was already five-thirty. That meant he hadn't really given Daph much notice either and she tended to run fashionably late at times. Fred couldn't blame her though because he wasn't the best at being on time either. Fred jumped out of his bed he had been laying in and bolted for the shower and got ready as fast as he could. He dried his hair, picked out his cologne, and was almost ready when he couldn't find the shirt he wanted. He had the right pants and shoes but there was a specific shirt he knew he wanted to wear. Digging through his closet he went shirt by shirt until he finally gave up and opted for a white button up. It felt...plain and he needed a touch of color so when looking through his drawer of ascots, an essential for a good outfit, he came across a purple one and smiled, knowing it was Daph's favorite color. That would work. He glanced at the time on his phone and saw it was quarter to seven. It took at least ten minutes to get to her place from his and he still needed to make a stop to get flowers. He grabbed his denim jacket, threw it on, and bolted out the door after grabbing his things. After a quick stop at a flower shop he was soon at her door. Seven-fifteen wasn't too bad, right?

With a bouquet of purple hydrangeas and white roses in hand he knocked on her door, thinking it would be really lame to just text her that he was here. When she opened he smiled at her and took in the sight that was her. "Hi," he greeted. "Uh, sorry I'm late and the short notice. I didn't really realize how late it already was and I wanted to stop and get you these." He holds out the flowers for her to accept, hoping she likes them and praying he didn't forget about any allergies she had. "I got purple ones because that's your favorite color." That he knew for certain. He knew so much about her and that's apart of the reason he feels so close to her. Fred had always been open with Daphne, there wasn't anything she couldn't possibly not know about Fred. "I thought we could go to dinner. Or if that's, like, not your vibe we can totally do something else. I did make a reservation though. I just...wanted to take you out somewhere nice. I don't really care what we do as long as I'm with you." He sweetly smiled at her and knew he was rambling at this point. "I mean, whatever you want and whenever you're ready I'm down for anything." Fred glances down at her lips, wanting to kiss them again and felt a longing as if it had been ages since he'd kissed her. "Before anything though..." he trailed off before leaning down and pressing a gentle kiss to her lips for a few moments. "I just wanted to do that first."
