But he didn’t fall. He couldn’t because Akihiko remained gripping, and Shinji was always the pillar; one hit wouldn’t give rise to justified ruckus. Sometimes this frustrated Akihiko, of how hard he had to strive to get on Shinji’s level. In some situations he felt he needed to use violence to get his point across. On another hand, he derived pleasure having someone to scuffle with, one without rules interfering, and this really wasn’t a secret.

What is this?

The first thing he notices and fixates on for a while, clearly, is his bare, exasperated self for all to see. This appears to be a sports magazine mock-up cover. Yet why does it look like he was roped into an amateur photoshoot? Where is the flex? The glory? Masculinity?
