As much as I loved your Reaper post and would love to read more, I hope you're not just writing it for the sake of other people's happiness as opposed to your own!! #preachyaskispreachy | I hope you're having fun writing it though, the OG instalment was SO good:D
I appreciate your concern; it’s very thoughtful of you! You’ve probably already read my posts about my original intentions for this story at this point.
It’s a bit weird, really, to consider the question of whose happiness I’m writing for. The truth is, there are some other stories I might be a bit happier working on right now, specifically one which is a reworking of various Firebird myths. But at the same time, it is incredibly rewarding to see people enjoy what I’ve written. Isa and Kat and the Reaper mythos have a special place in my heart now, and I’ve really enjoying exploring the mysteries they contain. And there is the small fact that Reaper has an interested audience while the Firebird does not.
But to assuage any fears, I don’t think I could write and release a story I wasn’t happy with or that I didn’t love. The Firebird is a story that has been growing inside me for at least fourteen years. It won’t hurt to let it grow a little longer while I explore this new story.

i just did something slightly cursed and i'm not 100% sure if i'm on board with it yet lol.
