Teddy had been on his fair share of dates in the past. However, he’d always managed to avoid blind dates, never one to trust those or how they could end up, and yet, it was impossible to tell Luna no. She insisted that Teddy would get along with one of her roommates, whose name Teddy could actually barely spell. And he couldn’t even lie and say he went on the date when he really didn’t, the dude literally lived with the girl that was setting them up. It just felt as if this was leading to disaster.
He stood in front of Luna’s door for a few seconds, inhaling deeply before knocking, preparing himself for the worst. For some reason he hadn’t prepared himself for if Ariadne actually answered the door, but when he did, Teddy was actually slightly taken aback. On just looks alone he already exceeded Teddy’s expectations. “Ariadne?” He said, trying to sound less formal and more casual but probably failing, “Oh,” he mumbled to himself, sticking his hand out for the other boy to shake, “I’m Teddy Lawson. Luna is - um, she set this up.” The smile on his face dropped for a second, “She did tell you about this, right?”
