Some dreams do come true! I so grateful to have been one of the first students with Cystic Fibrosis to graduate Harvard. For those of you who’ve followed me here for a long time you know that tumblr was the first place I announced my acceptance, and now it’s coming full circle as the first place I announce my graduation. This has been an amazing chapter of my life that I’m so blessed to have been gifted and I only pray that my work in making Harvard a more accessible place has paid some of that debt. Thank you everyone for your support and kindness, this isn’t the end of my journey but it is the bittersweet exit of the woods into the valley.

As many of you already know, I am no longer very active in the community because I became a mother to twin girls in late October of 2017, then a week later they were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.

CF is a pancreatic and lung disease that takes a toll on the entire body, and there is no cure yet. That being said my mom, and my sister in law are participating in the Great Strides fundraiser of 2019, and it would mean a lot to me, and to these little girls of mine, if you could donate to their team!

Attention: Cystic fibrosis friends!

I'd like to hear stories about either a hard time you've faced because of cf (easy to come up with I'm sure, at least for me) or a happy joyous time you've faced while managing your cf. I am playing around with the idea of writing a story/play about cf that doesn't have to do with having to remain away from other cf-ers. I believe cf is enough of a story without relying on the whole 6 feet apart thing, and while I have my own experience, I would like to base it on the collective experience and not just mine. Please help! Thanks!

It's not much but I made some progress and it's really all thanks to this vest. I want to get back in the 80 but we will have to wait and see at the end of June..

A few years ago I posted about my friend Amber who needed funds to be listed for a double lung transplant. She managed to fight and fight hard to get her health stable enough where she didnt need one anymore. Unfortunately as someone with Cystic Fibrosis, a lung transplant is inevitable. She is now back to the point of needing one. As of yesterday, she is officially on the list for new lungs! Congrats Amber. I LOVE YOU. <3
